Ranchito, Orchid Greenhouse & the Pond
The hexagonal Ranchito/Palapa sits down by the
stream, is surrounded by lush growth, and has a large
metal fireplace. It is a great place for daytime naps in
the hammock, or nighttime fireside parties.
The Orchid Greenhouse is the nursery for starting new
plants and home to an existing orchid collection.
The pond has a concrete shell and is fed by the
stream. We have maintained a healthy ecosystem;
there is a plethora of fish, frogs and turtles among the
pond plants and papyrus.
